California-themed wine bar on Wyndham
California Vintage has just opened its flagship store in Hong Kong at 77 Wyndham Street, with plans to open at least 20 more outlets in Asia in the next five years.
Rustic and cozy, the California-themed wine bar is not only committed to serving the finest California wines, but also to educating and entertaining both wine connoisseurs and casual drinkers alike with the use of expert staff and high-tech touches.
The info-loaded iPads are sure to be a big hit, giving guests a fun way to learn about California Vintage’s 23 partnering winemakers, take surveys and get suggested food-wine pairings, before sampling their wines of choice from the smartcard-enabled dispensing systems.
California Vintage will also host regular tastings, sommelier-hosted lunches and winemaking seminars to create a warm wine community and help guests increase their knowledge of Californian grapes, wines and regions.
Open from 11:30AM-3:00AM each day, California Vintage has over 80 wines served by the taste, half-pour or full-glass pour along with a range of Californian food items including cioppino, garlic fries, santa maria bbq and baja fish tacos. Mmm…need we say more?
