In the US product safety requirement comes from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). OSHA requires Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) listing for, among other things, all electrical equipment intended to be used in the workplace, regardless of locality.

What is UL & NSF and Why Are They Critical for Business Operations?

UL Safety Certification and NSF/ANSI certification are required by most local health and safety agencies in the USA. Napa Technology has been fully tested and certified by Underwriters Laboratory (UL) for Safety and NSF/ANSI. NSF testing alone will not satisfy local Electrical or Fire safety requirements.

To protect your investment Napa Technology recommends you or a team member personally verify the fact that your vendor(s) currently hold a UL Safety Certification and not simply NSF certification. NSF alone may not be enough for the Electrical and Fire inspectors in your area.
